2025年6月，由国家新闻出版署主办、中国期刊协会组织的“2025 BIBF 精品期刊展”在第三十一届北京国际图书博览会（BIBF）上展出。“2025 BIBF 精品期刊展”分设“‘十四五’规划中国期刊精品回顾展”“中国科技期刊卓越行动计划二期入选期刊”“首届中国期刊封面设计精品展”和“纪念中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争胜利80周年珍本期刊展”4个主题，共展览展示期刊700余种。经专家审读评选，《世界环境》入选第三十一届北京国际图书博览会（BIBF）“2025 BIBF 精品期刊展”入展期刊。

北京国际图书博览会创办于1986年，由国家新闻出版署主办、中国图书进出口（集团）有限公司承办，现已成为国际第二大书展，是我国目前最具国际影响力的书展平台，也是亚洲国际化程度最高的书展。“2025BIBF精品期刊展”聚焦宣传和展示我国期刊在“十四五”期间的重点任务完成情况、创新成果及典型案例。入选期刊导向正确，主题鲜明，特点突出，品质优良，充分展现出选题策划力度、理论水平深度和主题宣传亮度。
《世界环境》（双月刊）是由中华人民共和国城乡建设环境保护部环境保护局 （现生态环境部） 和联合国环境规划署于1983年联合创刊，中国生态环境部主管、生态环境部宣传教育中心主办的环境类权威期刊。《世界环境》历经40多年成长与发展，立足全球视野，密切关注环境发展，积极传播生态文明理念，基于对外讲好中国生态文明故事，助推生态环境国际交流互促的定位，建立了深厚广阔的信息渠道、成熟高效的运作机制，持续报道生态环境重点政策、重大事件、重要成果，积极追踪行业发展，解读全球环境政策，为读者提供一线的生态环境信息资料和深入分析，具有较强的系统性、思想性、专业性和前瞻性，已成为现今国内最具影响力的国际化环境刊物之一。
