6月9日晚，福安市遭遇强对流天气，城阳镇溪里山突降暴雨，75岁的杨奶奶与女儿阮女士被困在山上的老宅中，危急时刻，福安市公安局城阳派出所民警上演了一场与时间赛跑的紧急救助。
“水已经漫到床上了！”当晚10时许，城阳派出所接到阮女士求助称，积水正以肉眼可见的速度上涨，值班民警立即驱车赶往，并联动城阳镇政府有关部门及消防人员到场救援。

不料，在驱车前往途中，暴雨将道路淹没，湍急的水流裹挟着树枝、砂石而下。由于已无法清楚观察路面情况，情急之下，民警毫不犹豫地下车蹚水步行，在能见度极低的情况下，摸索着前进。

“别怕，我们来救你们了！”当民警抵达老宅时，只见母女俩正瑟瑟发抖地站在水流中。民警一边安抚母女俩紧张的情绪，一边在激流中，联合救援人员筑起“人肉护栏”，紧拉着她们的手，小心翼翼地护送回警车上。

经过半个多小时的救援，民警顺利将母女二人转移至安全地带。“太感谢了，你们真是老百姓的‘保护神’……”事后，阮女士的家人紧紧拉着民警的手，不停地表达感激之情。
